A large part of the event was to collect donations for the Family Supportive Housing homeless shelter– an organization dedicated to helping families in need get back onto their feet after financial setbacks. Family Supportive Housing helps families displaced because of difficult circumstances with temporary housing, financial literacy, job training and other skills. The goal of the organization is to help families return to their normal lifestyle within 90 days.
